Part 5 — Cleo The fifth task was to get the sausage back from the flea dogs. The dogs stole it and ran to the old barn. Cleo did not run. She walked slowly and said, “I know a secret.” The dogs came close to listen. Cleo said, “The farmer has a bigger sausage near the gate.” The dogs ran to the gate. Cleo took the sausage and went home. “I am not brave,” she said. “I am clever. And clever cats get sausage.” Everybody agreed. The dogs got no sausage and no secret.
