⚖️ A 23-year-old courier of scammers will stand trial In the regional capital the investigation against a native of Udmurtia accused of four episodes of fraud is complete. The girl was the courier in a remote scheme: collected cash and jewelry from elderly people. Five pensioners aged 68 to 88 fell victim to the criminals — residents of Kemerovo, Astrakhan and Barnaul. The damage amounted to more than 4.5 million rubles. The fraudsters called the elderly, posed as employees of banks or law enforcement agencies and, citing the need to "declare funds", forced them to hand over money and valuables. The stolen items the girl sold through commission shops in Novosibirsk, the proceeds were converted into cryptocurrency and passed to accomplices. The suspect was detained in Novosibirsk and remanded in custody. The case materials have gone to court — the accused faces up to 10 years of imprisonment. Подписаться на нас
