Traveling to New Places Traveling to new places is one of the best ways to learn about the world. I believe that visiting new countries changes your perspective on life. Last year, I traveled to Italy for the first time. I was amazed by the architecture, the history, and, of course, the delicious food. Walking through the streets of Rome felt like stepping back in time. However, traveling is not just about sightseeing. It’s also about meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. When you travel, you often have to solve problems — for example, finding your way in a foreign city or ordering food in a language you don’t speak well. This builds confidence. I always try to learn a few basic phrases in the local language before I go: it shows respect for the people who live there.
