Preparing for Dinner Guests Today is a busy day because I am hosting a dinner party for my close friends this evening. I have been planning the menu for a week, and I finally decided to cook a traditional Mediterranean meal. First, I went to the local market early this morning to buy fresh vegetables, herbs, and high-quality olive oil. Now, I am busy in the kitchen preparing the main course, which is roasted salmon with lemon and rosemary. I also need to bake a chocolate cake for dessert, as my friends have a sweet tooth. The house needs a thorough cleaning, so I have to tidy up the living room and set the dining table properly. I want everything to look perfect and welcoming when my guests arrive at seven o'clock.
