💬 Размышления о сегодняшнем ЕГКР (пробнике ЕГЭ по английскому языку) 🇬🇧 🗣️ В устной части в Task 4 (тема “Jobs”) была картинка, где изображен бариста. Предвосхищая ошибки на проверке, уже заранее хочется напомнить, что: ✅ barista /bɑːrˈiːs.tə/ ☕️ - a person who serves customers in a coffee shop (= a small restaurant that serves coffee) специалист по приготовлению кофе ❌ barrister /ˈbær.ɪ.stər/ 🧑💼 💼 - a type of lawyer in the UK, etc. адвокат ⚠️ И ошибка в ударении будет вести к коммуникативной ошибке в данном случае - К1. ✅ barman /ˈbɑː.mən/ ☕️🍹 - a man who serves drinks in a bar работник бара, который отвечает за приготовление и подачу коктейлей и напитков (алкогольных и безалкогольных) ✅ barmaid /ˈbɑː.meɪd/ ☕️🍹 - a woman who serves drinks in a bar женщина-бармен ❌ waiter /ˈweɪ.tər/ / waitress /ˈweɪ.trəs/ - a man/ woman whose job is to bring the food to customers at their tables in a restaurant официант/ официантка (конкретно к данному заданию не подойдет, но в целом идея рабочая) ⚡️Навеяло вопросики с подвохом из Task 3 по той же теме из вариантов прошлых лет: ❓ What jobs were traditionally called male (они же MASCULINE /ˈmæs.kjə.lɪn/ и это не то же самое, что mosquitoes 🦟😄) and female ones in the past? In the past, some jobs were seen as more suitable for men, such as engineers, builders, and politicians. In contrast, jobs such as teachers and nurses were typically associated with women. ❓Can women encounter gender bias /ˈbaɪ.əs/ (гендерная предвзятость/ Starlight 7) in masculine professions? Women can still encounter gender bias in male-dominated industries, particularly in leadership or technical roles (должности). They may face stereotypes, unequal pay, or limited career advancement opportunities. ❓What kinds of people are likely to be role models for teenagers? Why? Teenagers are often influenced by public figures such as celebrities, influencers, and successful entrepreneurs /ˌɒn.trə.prəˈnɜːr/ (предприниматели). This is largely because these individuals represent achievement, confidence, and a desirable lifestyle. ❓What qualities were people expected to have in male and female jobs? Traditionally, men were expected to demonstrate leadership, assertiveness /əˈsɜː.tɪv.nəs/, and ambition in their roles. Women, on the other hand, were expected to display empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills. ❓ Is gender still important in choosing a career now? Why do you think so? Although gender is becoming less relevant in career choices, it still plays a role in certain industries and cultures. Social expectations and stereotypes can continue to influence people’s decisions and opportunities. ❓What changes will take place in the world of jobs in the near future? The job market (рынок труда) is likely to become increasingly technology-driven, with automation and AI playing a key role.
