📌 26 и 27 июня 2026 года в СПбГУ пройдут две лекции «On some universal Morse–Sard type theorems and applications to fluid mechanics». 📝 Докладчик — Михаил Вячеславович Коробков, School of Mathematical Sciences, Fudan University, Shanghai, China. In the first lecture, we review research over the past decade on extending analogs of the Morse—Sard theorem to Sobolev functions. Many surprising effects have been discovered here, for example, when almost all level sets of a Sobolev map turn out to be smooth manifolds, even though the map itself has no classical smoothness, and so on. However, some results are new even for smooth functions. This long-term research started with our joint papers with Jean Bourgain. These results were very helpful for some of Leray's problems in mathematical fluid mechanics. In particular, for plane and axially symmetric spatial flows, the existence theorem was proved for the boundary value problem of the stationary Navier-Stokes equations in bounded domains under the necessary and sufficient condition of zero total flux. The last lecture also addresses solutions to the stationary Navier–Stokes system in 2d exterior (unbounded) domains, still a lot of open problems here. ⏰ Начало: 16:00 📍Место проведения: СПбГУ, 14-я линия В.О., д. 29, ауд. 120
