📚 It’s common practice for the students of our Gymnasia to pass the final test in English in the end of each academic year. Starting from grade 3 up to grade 7 the pupils demonstrate their communicative skills on the topics that they have learned during the academic course in English. 💡 The materials for the final test for grades 3-7 are compelled in accordance with the general EFL standards of education in Russia (ВПР, All-Russian Test Work), while the stuff for the 8th and 10th formers keep the RNE (ОГЭ/ ЕГЭ) format. So, the given procedure meets all possible requirements. In order to boost the student’s motivation and to reward their academic performance, teachers have introduced “a golden ticket” (“Happy Golden Card”). The holder of this ticket is entitled to choose the topic on their own. Besides, the students who have demonstrated excellent results throughout the academic year and those who have demonstrated excellency and proved themselves to be diligent learners, are awarded with “an automatic pass”. This, in turn, encourages pupils to continue their successful study of English. Moreover, this way of assessment serves students as a beneficial step to surely enter the next grade of education. 🧑🧑🧒🧒 Obviously, this long-cherished school tradition is a true indicator of a student’s progress which provides a good opportunity for parents to share their children’s academic success and to offer family support. #ГимназияТерехова в max
