JOB TITLE & SUMMARY # Senior Merchandiser / Senior Project Manager KEY RESPONSIBILITIES # Discuss and define client product requirements with Senior Management and/or Client # Identify potential suppliers via sourcing platforms or existing supplier network # Evaluate and assess suitable suppliers via phone, email, wechat and on site # Submit financial entries in accounting system (Purchase Orders, Supplier Bills, etc.) for accounting approval # Conduct on-site quality controls for critical projects # Prepare & arrange bulk and sample shipments with forwarder and oversee timely deliveries SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED # Fluency in Mandarin and good English skills (written and spoken) # If you are already in China that would be a great advantage but not a must-have requirement # Ability to prioritize, multi-task and self-organize independently and in a structured manner in a fast-paced environment # Solution-oriented / good problem solving skills and ability to think out of the box # Diligent, detail-oriented and reliable # Able to quickly learn new production processes and build material know-how # At least 3 years working experience in a sourcing- or trading-company - ideally serving international markets and clients # Product experience with packaging and print items (paper, cardboard), bags and or fashion accessories (Small Leather Goods, Bags, Headwear, Scarves, Fashion Jewelry) and/or various gift items would be a plus (but not a must have) # Willingness to travel inside China (about 4-5 days / month) # Good people skills / confident and firm if needed when dealing with suppliers DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES # If you perform on your job you can develop into a Merchandising Team Leader VISA: # During probation you would work on a business visa, after probation we would convert the business visa into a working visa # Our company covers all visa fees TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT # Full-Time SALARY LEVEL RMB 17.000 SUPERVISOR # You report to the Department Manager and to the General Manager LOCATION # Our Office is located near Wuyangcun in Zhujiang New Town / Guangzhou, China INFORMATION TO SUBMIT # CV with candidate picture in chronological order (education and working experience) in PDF or Word Format # Cover Letter in PDF or Word Format in which you explain in English why this job interests you and why you think you are qualified for it # All documents provided should be in English only # Clearly indicate on your application where you found our job offer, for which position you apply and what your current visa status is # Please send your application via email to hr2025@kenago.com
