Students and staff of the Northern State Medical University (NSMU) took part in the First All‑Russian Forum for Medical Youth. The forum was held from 11 to 13 October at Sechenov University. Among the participants were representatives of more than 30 medical universities from various regions of the country. Our university was represented at the forum by: Natalia Vasilyevna Kraeva, Vice‑Rector for Youth Policy and Educational Activities; Daria Vladimirovna Strezhneva, Head of the Educational Work Service; Anton Vasiliev, Chair of the Students’ Council; Konstantin Zobolev, Deputy Chair of the Students’ Council; Maria Konovalova, Head of the Students’ Council Media Centre. 🔹One of the most notable events was the “Meaningful Breakfast” with Mikhail Albertovich Murashko, Minister of Health of the Russian Federation. The students had the opportunity to ask the head of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation their questions and receive detailed and honest answers. 🔹The educational part of the forum focused on developing the “MEDMOL” community in medical universities, and this topic served as the common ground for discussions among students, staff, and vice‑rectors. The programme also included practical workshops by federal experts, who shared insights on conflict management, building a vice‑rector’s personal brand, managing youth communities, and developing student media. Students had the chance to take a tour of the Museum of the History of Medicine at Sechenov University. According to Natalia Vasilyevna Kraeva, this is not just a platform for exchanging opinions, but an important tool for developing the ecosystem of the student community in medical universities: “The Medical Youth Forum is a great opportunity to meet like‑minded people, talk with vice‑rector colleagues from other cities, exchange experience in implementing MedMol, communicate with students, and hear their views on current processes: building a support system for student initiatives, developing volunteer and project communities, and integrating youth ideas into the social and educational agenda of universities.” 📸 — Sechenov University.
