Ох уж эти ROMO, FOMO, JOMO...😅 Подслушано в чатах CPE. Недавно ученики делились своими сетами Quizlet и обсуждали современные аббревиатуры. Мы тоже решили с вами поделиться. Проверьте, все ли фразы вам знакомы? ● FOMO – Fear Of Missing Out a worried feeling that you may miss exciting events that other people are going to, especially caused by things you see on social media ● JOMO – Joy Of Missing Out ● ROMO – Relief of Missing Out the sweet relief of saying no, skipping the noise, taking a break from social obligations and choosing what truly bring you joy and peace ● YOLO – You Only Live Once used, especially on social media, to mean that you should do things that are enjoyable or exciting, even if they are silly or dangerous ● POV – Point Of View used, especially on social media, to show who created a particular video or photograph, and therefore whose way of thinking about something it shows ● IYKYK – If You Know, You Know used, for example on social media and in text messages, to show that there is a shared joke or shared knowledge with the reader that other people might not understand #wakeup_language
