Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium Happy 7th birthday to Poppy! This binturong is in the rotating lineup of our Animal Adventures LIVE program, and today the birthday girl showed how a whole banana is no match for her snacking skills. Binturongs are also called bearcats, but they are not related to bears or cats. They do, however, have a cat-like face and a bear-like body. They are related to civets and fossas, and they smell like popcorn! The smell comes from an oil gland on the tail.
