Interviewer:
Interviewer: Great. Cities affect people in different ways. Some people find cities dynamic and exciting. Others find that cities are overwhelming and drain them of energy. What kind of reaction do you have to cities? Why do you think you react in this way? Вам нужно ответить сразу на оба полюса вопроса: это как раз то, что интервьюер хочет услышать (не да или нет, а нюанс и самоанализ): That's an interesting question, because I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with cities. Given my hectic schedule, I spend most of my week in the very heart of the city, so I experience both sides of the coin on a daily basis. In my view, cities are dynamic and exciting - not only do they provide endless opportunities for work, culture and social life, but they also allow me to recharge my batteries when I need inspiration. What strikes me most about them is the energy you can almost physically feel walking down the street: back in the day, people used to spend their evenings at home, whereas nowadays it is all about pop-up events, night markets and spontaneous meetings with friends. At the same time, it seems to me that the flow of energy can be draining. There is a prevailing view among experts that constant noise and crowds exhaust the nervous system, and I've noticed this in my own experience: after a week of deadlines, traffic and packed metro cars, I feel completely wiped out. So as frequently as I would like, I don't manage to escape to nature, though when I do, I come back feeling like a new person. It appears to me that, on balance, my reaction depends on the stage I'm at: I am inclined to believe that cities energize me when I have the resources to enjoy them, and drain me when I'm running on empty. All in all, without a shadow of a doubt, I'd say the city is my natural habitat - as long as I remember to step outside of it from time to time. Ссылка на мнение экспертов (there is a prevailing view among experts) добавляет веса личному опыту. Личные примеры (deadlines, метро, выезды на природу) делают речь живой и естественной - экзаменаторы это ценят.
