Yesterday we travelled abroad! Well … almost! Just for four hours=) 🇨🇳Our family was invited to Chinese Embassy in Moscow for the party dedicated for Children’s Day. Through his work, my husband plays a role in Chinese-Russian cooperation. 🎊We had a whale of a time there. The party was generously hosted - very warm and welcoming. We were treated like honored welcomed guests. Everything was organized at a high level - timing, food, activities and entertainments for kids, souvenirs. I could feel that everything was well-prepared and well-thought out. ☀️I don't know how they managed to pick the date so perfectly - we were lucky with the weather, since some of the activities were held outdoors. I ate so delicious rice with stewed iceberg lettuce 🥬 and a ton of yummy desserts 🧁. Ice-cream and cotton candy for kids. 🏯The interiors are luxurious and beautifully -decorated. I loved the wall-sized pictures of Chinese nature, bonsai trees (decorated with tinsel like our New Year’ trees), red paper lanterns. It feels as if the building itself was built during Soviet times, but in traditional Chinese style. 🥂There is a large garden with a pond and a fountain in it. I felt as if I were at the buffet-dinner at a Great Gatsby's party!) The kids were happy, Roma spend about an hour on the bouncy-castle😀. Andrusha and I enjoyed drawing outdoors. And! How could I mention them last! 🤖 Robots! A very smart and nice dog Лайка and human-like android робот Володя greeted the guests. They are very friendly, a little battered, but they have survived so many children. The doggy made standing on her hind and even front (!) legs, played with kids. Володя spoke, danced and walked.
