From October 24 to 25, the regional round of the “StudRussia” contest took place in Saint Petersburg. It was a tough but exciting challenge. The students had to show off their projects, get along with new people fast, and work together to solve tricky real‑life problems in teams with students from other universities. Around 140 international students from 28 universities joined in — so the competition was really strong. NSMU (Northern State Medical University) was represented by Shahida Ashraf (4th year) and Gupta Roshan Rajesh (5th year), both from the International Faculty of General Practice. Their supervisor was Tatyana Dmitrievna Poluektova, a senior lecturer from the Department of Foreign Languages and Russian as a Foreign Language. The students did a great job representing their university and handled all the tasks with confidence. Just taking part and getting through this round is a big win — it helps you build new skills, meet interesting people, and feel more sure of yourself. Big congratulations to Shahida and Roshan on this amazing achievement! We hope this experience opens even more doors and leads to even bigger successes in the future. ❤️
