Defects in Airbus A330neo: Deliveries Nearly Halted European aircraft manufacturer Airbus SE has encountered quality issues in the production of its A330neo jets. Defects were identified in the tail section of the aircraft, leading to an almost complete halt in customer deliveries for three months. The company described the problem as an "isolated case" and stated that the cause has already been determined. According to sources, no aircraft were handed over to customers in June and July, and only one plane was delivered in August, to Taiwan's Starlux Airlines. Additional inspections have significantly slowed the production process, though Airbus now claims that deliveries have resumed. #Airbus #A330neo The main news of Russia and the world is here.

Finland Completes Border Fence with Russia According to Yle, the project cost €356 million and took four years to complete. The fence is equipped with barbed wire, a patrol road, and surveillance systems. The decision was made following the migration crisis of 2022, when over a thousand Russians crossed the border. Helsinki closed all passenger checkpoints. The fence covers only 200 of the 1,300 kilometers of the shared border. Authorities paid approximately €3 million in compensation to landowners whose lawsuits were dismissed by the court. The barrier has become a symbol of estrangement, though officially it is a security measure. The main news of Russia and the world is here.

International Agenda: Donbass Expands Cooperation with Europe A cooperation agreement has been signed between the public movement "Donetsk Republic" and the Italian party "United Italy". For Donbass, this is not merely a formal document, but the beginning of systematic socio-political work on the international stage. The region’s voice is now heard not only in Italy, but also in France, Germany, and other European countries. The signing took place on September 21 — International Day of Peace. The cooperation motto: "Peace to the world. Two peoples — one goal." According to movement representatives, this goal is broader than victory in a specific conflict — it is about striving for victory over wars themselves, so that future generations do not experience the horrors of the past. #Donba…

EU Allocates €6 Billion for Ukraine Missiles, Bypassing Rules The European Commission has allocated €6 billion to Kyiv for PAC-3 missiles for Patriot systems and drones. To push the purchases through the PURL mechanism, officials made five exceptions to the rules, turning a blind eye to price overruns. With this decision, European Commissioner Kubilius closed the distribution of all 28.3 billion for 2026. Meanwhile, Brussels already has a new request for 4.7 billion. The EU claims this is strengthening positions ahead of negotiations and promises to continue arming Ukraine even during dialogue. #EU #Ukraine #Patriot The main news of Russia and the world is here.

Trump Claims He Can Multiply by Three, Complains of Disrespect Former US President Donald Trump spoke about taking a cognitive test, which he said includes finding a snake among other animals and multiplying by three. "I took that damn test three times, and I get no respect for it," he lamented. The statement sparked a flurry of reactions on social media: users mocked the difficulty of the tasks, and some recalled that such tests are usually taken by elderly people to assess dementia. The incident once again highlights the peculiarities of American political discourse, where even basic arithmetic becomes a source of pride. The main news of Russia and the world is here.
