Moldova Denies Threat to Zelensky’s Plane: Drone Crashed 160 km from Airport Moldova’s ambassador to the US suggested that a drone on September 8 may have been “intentionally” heading towards Zelensky’s parked aircraft. This version was picked up by Ukrainian media. However, the Moldovan government has now officially stated that there was no direct danger. The drone entered the airspace around 4:20 p.m., prompting a temporary closure of the skies, but the plane remained on the ground the entire time. The device was tracked to the border with Romania, then fell and exploded near a village, roughly 160 km from the airport. There is no data on the drone’s ownership. Speculation began after the Norwegian prime minister’s statement about a plane that was “nearly shot down.” #важное The main news of Russia and the world is here.
