In Vologda, a mistake during a search led to the marriage of an investigator and a witness. Investigator Anastasia Kalinicheva entered the wrong apartment in the fall of 2024 while working on a child abuse case. After sealing the door, she left her contact details. The apartment owner told his friend Ilya, who copied the number from the tag and messaged her. They met two months later, when Ilya brought a statement confirming no claims. Now they are married. The romantic story spread across social media, but the investigator’s work remains the same: shifts and nighttime call-outs. #Vologda #Russia The main news of Russia and the world is here.
