Ecological Dictation "Eco-dictation: Know Your Planet" Direction: science, education, life in RUDN University Headline: Ecological Dictation "Eco-dictation: Know Your Planet" Background: Environmental Education Day is celebrated annually on 15 April since 1992 The holiday, initiated by the UN, aims to promote ecological knowledge, the formation of a culture of respect for nature and information about environmental issues. Traditionally, this day is used for eco-outreach, clean-up campaigns and educational events. In honor of the Environmental Education Day, students will take part in ecodictation - a project aimed at forming an ecological culture and popularizing ecological knowledge among various segments of the population, Raising the level of environmental awareness as a measure to prevent environmental offenses and as a key component of environmental safety. Main part: April 16, 2026, 2- and 3-year bachelor’s students wrote an environmental dictation "Know Your Planet" in English at the Department of Foreign Languages, Institute of Environmental Engineering of RUDN University. The purpose of the event is to promote environmental knowledge and formation of ecological culture of students, information on the state of affairs in the field of environmental safety and the state of the environment, as well as education and training of citizen who knows how to think ecologically.
