В СГМУ состоялся митинг, посвященный Дню памяти и скорби. Почтить память тех, чьи жизни перечеркнула Великая Отечественная война, павших воинов и погибших медиков, пришли сотрудники, студенты и ветераны Северного государственного медицинского университета. В приветственном слове Надежда Александровна Былова, исполняющая обязанности ректора СГМУ, напомнила о важности сохранения исторической памяти: "Сегодня очень важный и ответственный день. Память - это то, что дает возможность человечеству не совершать прошлых ошибок. Мы в вечном долгу перед теми, кто отдал жизни за Победу: именно их подвиг подарил нам то, что мы имеем сегодня. Я надеюсь, что нашим поколениям никогда не будет так же тяжело, как тем, кто встретил 22 июня 1941 года". На торжественном митинге прозвучали стихи и песни военных лет, а также истории очевидца тех трагических событий - ветерана СГМУ Тимоховой Калерии Ивановновны, которая ушла из жизни оставив воспоминания в виде дневниковых записей. Их прочла Евгения Георгиевна Щукина, доцент кафедры педагогики и психологии СГМУ. Мероприятие, посвящённое Дню памяти и скорби, завершилось возложением цветов к памятнику "Медикам Севера". ▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️ A memorial rally dedicated to the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow was held at the Northern State Medical University (NSMU). Employees, students and veterans of the Northern State Medical University came to honour the memory of those whose lives were cut short by the Great Patriotic War — fallen soldiers and deceased medical workers. In her welcoming speech, Nadezhda Alexandrovna Bylova, Acting Rector of the NSMU, reminded everyone of the importance of preserving historical memory: “Today is a very important and solemn day. Memory is what gives humanity the opportunity to avoid repeating past mistakes. We are forever in debt to those who gave their lives for Victory — it was their подвиг (heroic deed) that gave us what we have today. I hope that our generations will never have to endure the same hardships as those who faced June 22, 1941”. At the solemn rally, wartime poems and songs were performed, along with first‑hand accounts from a witness of those tragic events — Kaleria Ivanovna Timokhova, a veteran of the NSMU who passed away leaving behind memories in the form of diary entries. These were read by Evgenia Georgievna Shchukina, Associate Professor at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the NSMU. The event dedicated to the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow concluded with a wreath‑laying ceremony at the “Medics of the North” monument.
