Diplomas were awarded to the 2026 graduates of NSMU! 728 new names in the country’s medical history — that’s how many graduates in medical specialties our university has produced this year. 130 of them completed training under secondary vocational education programmes. Another 200 are students from other countries: they will take with them not only knowledge but also the experience of the Russian medical school. And 34 people proved that it’s possible to be not just a good student, but the best: they graduated with honours. Nadezhda Alexandrovna Bylova, Acting Rector of NSMU, addressed the graduates with parting words: “I am very glad that now we are sending you not just into practical medicine, but to specific mentors, so you won’t get lost — your physician‑mentors at the clinics will be rooting for you and worrying about you. I hope that in a few years many of you will yourselves be among the teachers and mentors. I wish you all a broad, great path and a wonderful, professionally fulfilling medical future!” The graduates and faculty members were congratulated by the teaching staff and deans of the faculties, as well as by the university’s honourary guests: 🔹 Dmitry Vasilyevich Bogdanov — Minister of Health of the Arkhangelsk Region. 🔹 Taras Ivanovich Nosovskoy — Head of the Rospotrebnadzor Office for the Arkhangelsk Region. 🔹 Ekaterina Petrovna Olfert — Head of the Territorial Body of Roszdravnadzor for the Arkhangelsk Region and the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. 🔹 Konstantin Vitalievich Baryshkov — Chairman of the Association of Healthcare Organizers of the Arkhangelsk Region. After the diploma awarding ceremony, a tea reception with the rector was held for the graduates who had completed the university with honours. In an informal setting, the young professionals shared their professional plans — many of them intend to continue their education in residency programmes. ❤ Our dear graduates!
