Students of the Northern State Medical University (NSMU) took part in the annual Pharmaceutical International Innovation Camp “FILIN”. Fifth‑year students of the Faculty of Preventive Medicine, Medical Biochemistry and Pharmacy, Anastasia Kasyanova and Albina Varfolomeeva, joined the large‑scale educational platform “FILIN” designed for senior students from relevant universities across Russia. The camp is held in Yaroslavl and has been bringing together future industry professionals for many years. 🔹 The intensive programme covered almost all aspects of modern pharmacy. Special emphasis was placed on interactive formats and masterclasses delivered by market leaders. 🔹 Our students actively participated in team business simulations: they won prizes, received awards, worked on real‑life production tasks, and learned the nuances of building a career — from pharmaceutical marketing to quality assurance and control. 🔹 The theoretical component was complemented by a field trip to an operating production site. Participants personally observed every stage of medicine production: from molecule development in the laboratory to packaging the finished batch on the production line. According to Anastasia Kasyanova, taking part in such an event opens up broad prospects for future pharmacists and helps them gain valuable experience. “For us, this trip was a powerful reset. When you work on complex pharmacological cases side by side with students from all over the country and see the production process with your own eyes, you realise that the pharmacist’s profession is much deeper and broader than it seems from the lecture halls. This experience will definitely stay with us for a long time!”
