Professor N. A. Vorobyova at the “Golden Autumn” Congress: a dialogue on the precision and safety of antithrombotic therapy Professor Nadezhda Aleksandrovna Vorobyova, Head of the Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy at NSMU (Northern State Medical University) and Head of the Regional Center for Antithrombotic Therapy, took part in the 21st Congress “Rational Pharmacotherapy ‘Golden Autumn’”. At the invitation of the Organizing Committee, she served both as moderator of the “Hemostasis” section and as a speaker. 🔹 Within the section, Professor Vorobyova presented her report “Antiplatelet Therapy — from Empiricism to Precise Data”. The report focused on the transition from approximate approaches to therapy prescription to decisions based on objective indicators and personalized parameters. This direction is particularly important in clinical pharmacology: precise dosing and effect monitoring directly influence the balance between treatment efficacy and safety. The session turned out to be highly engaging and discussion‑driven. The audience actively asked questions, and the discussion quickly went beyond the formal schedule, evolving into a lively professional dialogue. “Clinical pharmacology of hemostasis is a topic that never leaves anyone indifferent. Our session fully confirmed this: the conversation about monitoring, safety, and efficacy turned into a heated discussion. We also touched upon pharmacogenetics, including its population‑specific aspects. It is especially valuable that new scientific contacts were established with colleagues from Kazakhstan and Belarus during the discussion. And even after the symposium ended, the attendees were in no hurry to leave — the energy of live communication and experience exchange proved stronger than the schedule,” - Professor Nadezhda Aleksandrovna shared. Professor Vorobyova’s participation in the congress is a contribution to building a unified professional space, where the experience of Arkhangelsk clinics is heard on an equal footing with federal and international approaches. Such platforms not only allow sharing results but also help to outline new directions for joint research, refine clinical algorithms, and ultimately improve the quality of patient care.
