Students of the International Faculty of General Medicine of NSMU took part in the online meeting of the Russian Society "Znanie" 🔺The topic of the meeting was "Beslan. School No. 1" was dedicated to the Day of Solidarity in the Fight against Terrorism. 🔹Dean of the Faculty Natalya Yuryevna Anikina and translator of the International Cooperation Department Mikhail Vasilyevich Trotsyuk spoke about the reasons for establishing a memorial mourning date in Russia and about the tragic events in the city of Beslan on September 3, 2004. The main message is that terrorism has no nationality, no religion, no flag, and no borders. Students from India know this firsthand — this phenomenon has not spared their country either. 🔺Our shared memory of those terrible events is the best prevention, so that something like this never happens again. This event was organized jointly with the Coordinating Center for Countering Terrorism and Prevention of Extremism at NArFU, as part of the organization of international cooperation by the Association of Foreign Students.
