NSMU Staff Make Strong Showing at the First Congress of Clinical Pharmacologists “ClinPharm‑Expert 2026” in Moscow Employees of the Northern State Medical University (NSMU) actively participated in the First Congress of Clinical Pharmacologists “ClinPharm‑Expert 2026” held in Moscow. The event involved nearly the entire staff of the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy. 🔹 The congress kicked off with a meeting of the relevant commission. Anastasia Sergeevna Fedorenko, Associate Professor at the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy at NSMU, delivered one of the key presentations. 🔹 Throughout the congress, anticipation built around the results of two prestigious competitions: “Best Scientific Work by Young Researchers” and “Best Published Article in Clinical Pharmacology for 2025”. The Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy at NSMU decided to compete in both categories — and achieved outstanding results! Competition results 🥇 1st place in the “Best Scientific Work by Young Researchers” category was awarded to the study “Balancing Efficacy and Safety of Antiplatelet Pharmacotherapy in Cardiovascular Diseases: The Role of Laboratory Monitoring of Platelet Function”. Authors: M. K. Khomich, A. A. Murashkina, N. A. Vorobyova. 🥉 3rd place in the “Best Published Article for 2025” category went to the publication “Carriage of CYP2C19 Gene Alleles and Potential Drug–Drug Interactions in Patients with Coronary Artery Disease”. Authors: N. A. Vorobyova, D. D. Komissarova, Vetoshkina, A. S. Vorontsova. On the second day of the congress, NSMU department staff continued to showcase the scientific and practical potential of both the university and the Regional Antithrombotic Therapy Center. 🔹 Anastasia Marusiy, teaching assistant at the department, presented a report on complications of anticoagulant therapy — a topic of high practical relevance to modern clinical practice. 🔹 Professor Nadezhda Alexandrovna Vorobyova, Head of the Department, presented the department’s experience in developing and implementing pharmacogenetic analysis using the Russian DNA sequencer “Nanophor‑05”. In addition, Professor Vorobyova served as moderator of the pharmacogenetics session, ensuring a high level of discussion and knowledge exchange. The participation of the NSMU Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy in the First Congress of Clinical Pharmacologists has confirmed the department’s high scientific standing and demonstrated the significant contribution of our specialists to the advancement of clinical pharmacology in Russia. 👏 Congratulations to all our colleagues on these well‑deserved awards and the successful presentation of their research achievements!
