С 1990 года он возглавляет кафедру гистологии, цитологии и эмбриологии, а его научная школа стала опорой для многих поколений исследователей. Среди важнейших достижений - создание северной научной школы морфологов, открытие первого на Севере России Центра экстракорпорального оплодотворения (2001) и формирование Шведско‑Российского института клинической клеточной биологии. Под руководством Андрея Леонидовича защищены десятки кандидатских и докторских диссертаций, а результаты его исследований, отражённые более чем в 260 публикациях и 9 монографиях, известны далеко за пределами страны. Особого уважения заслуживает общественная и организационная деятельность Андрея Леонидовича: он инициировал и возглавлял крупные международные симпозиумы, внёс значимый вклад в работу профессиональных сообществ и диссертационных советов. Andrey Leonidovich is a scientist and educator whose name is firmly associated with the development of morphological science in the North of Russia. Since 1990, he has headed the Department of Histology, Cytology and Embryology, and his scientific school has become a cornerstone for many generations of researchers. Among his most significant achievements are the establishment of the Northern Scientific School of Morphologists, the opening of the first In Vitro Fertilisation Centre in the North of Russia (2001), and the creation of the Swedish‑Russian Institute of Clinical Cell Biology. Under Andrey Leonidovich’s supervision, dozens of candidate and doctoral dissertations have been defended, and the results of his research — reflected in more than 260 publications and 9 monographs — are well known far beyond the country’s borders. Andrey Leonidovich’s public and organisational activities deserve special recognition: he initiated and led major international symposia and made a significant contribution to the work of professional communities and dissertation councils. Andrey Leonidovich’s work has been honoured with high awards, ranging from the Medal of the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland”, 2nd Class, to the title of Honorary Doctor of Umeå University and NSMU. 🌟 Dear Andrey Leonidovich!
