Hello, freshmen! Today, our corridors are quiet, devoid of the usual hustle and bustle. But very soon, life will once again come alive here, filled with the voices of students and professors, and now yours too. To help you become familiar with the university locations where you will be studying in the coming years, we have organized a small photo tour with Anastasia Khramova, a 3rd-year student of the Medical Faculty. To take a virtual tour of your future learning spaces, read the photo descriptions in the NSMU VK group or here: 1 - This is the university lobby, known to us as the «sachok» — this is where you can find lost fellow students, most likely they will be somewhere near the pastry shop. Many events and campaigns are held here, including festive performances by the university's creative groups. If you see students with a roll-up banner and a table, don't pass by — they probably have something interesting in store! 2 - This is our «deans' alley» — where almost all the deans' offices of our faculties are located. It's right next to the sachok. 3 - We have arrived at the NSMU Consultative and Diagnostic Polyclinic, where you will undergo medical examinations. 4 - This is the Nikolai Prokopievich Bychikhin Auditorium. Can you already imagine yourself here? 5 - And now, the reading room! This is where our students prepare for their classes. It's always quiet here, not just in summer. Because there should be silence in the library. 6 - And here is our gym! Here you will find not only physical education classes but also the thrill of victory, friendship, support from coaches, and lots of laughter, mostly during the «Fun Runs». 7 - This is one of the classrooms of the NSMU Federal Accreditation Center. Here, students learn to administer injections, apply wound dressings, insert catheters, and perform many other medical procedures on training mannequins. 8 - Here is another classroom of the NSMU Federal Accreditation Center. Before working with real patients, every doctor must learn various procedures on training mannequins. There's actually a lot of interesting stuff here! Including a birthing robot. 9 - The Perinatal Center is a structural division of the Arkhangelsk Regional Clinical Hospital and one of the many clinical bases of NSMU, where our departments are located, where students and residents receive training. It is here that they are inspired by the example of their mentors, gain practical experience, and take their first real steps into medicine. 😃 Have you already imagined yourself in a lecture in the classroom?
