▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫ Head of the “POISK” Theatre Studio, Natalya Nikolaevna Smyshlyaeva, took an active part in the seminar “Development of Student Theatre”, which was held at Ryazan State University named after S. A. Yesenin — on the premises of one of the oldest universities in the region. The event programme included panel discussions, round tables, excursions, as well as a performance of The Transition by the RSU named after S. A. Yesenin Theatre, staged at the Ryazan Drama Theatre. Natalya Nikolaevna noted that both the performances and the organisation of the seminar were of a high standard. In her view, such events are more than just an exchange of opinions and presentations — they are a real platform for discoveries and for seeking new ways to develop theatre groups “The two days flew by like a single moment! The performances were wonderful, the organisation was excellent, and the huge amount of work put into it has been beneficial to many groups. That’s why I wholeheartedly support the revival of festivals. Performances, the interesting experiences shared by colleagues, new discoveries, and inspiration — we must always look for new ways to develop our groups. Every participant shared their successes and challenges, which can only be overcome within a community of like‑minded people. I am grateful for the opportunity to discuss the struggles and achievements of our student theatres, to analyse my own work and identify areas for growth, and to share my tips and advice with colleagues!
