The first of three voting days for the election of deputies to representative bodies at various levels is in full swing. Thousands of polling stations have opened across the country, one of them is at the Northern State Medical University. 📝Let us remind you that September 18, 19, and 20 have been declared election days in the Russian Federation. September 20 is a single voting day. In the Arkhangelsk Region, the following are taking place simultaneously: ✅elections of deputies to the State Duma; ✅by‑elections of deputies to the Arkhangelsk Regional Assembly of Deputies; ✅Elections to local government bodies in the Arkhangelsk Region. ➡️Employees and students of NSMU are taking an active part in the elections: in addition to fulfilling their civic duty as voters, they serve as members of precinct election commissions and are on duty at polling stations. A special role is assigned to participants in the “Medical Volunteers” movement, who are present at polling stations in the city of Arkhangelsk, provide consultations on healthy lifestyle and donation, and are always ready to provide the necessary assistance. ❗️Everyone can make their choice at a polling station or via DEG (remote electronic voting). For example, Nadezhda Alexandrovna Bylova, the acting rector of NSMU, voted in this way. This method is convenient because it allows people to express their civic stance while barely taking a break from their daily concerns, studies, and work. ✔️Vote too. Remember: your vote is the strength of Russia!
