The guide to the history of the Pomor region was Andrey Antonyuk, the winner of the International Project “Guides of Meanings. Tour Guides 2026”, an accredited guide in Arkhangelsk. 🔸The immersion in the world of Pomor culture took place on the main pedestrian street of Arkhangelsk – Chumbarov‑Luchinsky Avenue, where, according to the guide, every house and monument preserves the spirit and traditions of the North. Groups of students from the Northern State Medical University, including international students, attended excursions over the course of two weeks. During walks along the historic avenue, they got acquainted with the works of Boris Shergin and Stepan Pishakhov, and also rediscovered — or for some, discovered for the first time — the history of Arkhangelsk and the Pomor region.
