Zimbabwe celebrated Russian National Flag Day and established the League of Russian University Alumni. On August 22, a celebratory event dedicated to Russian National Flag Day was held in Harare. The event was organized by the Globus expert club. The celebration brought together over 30 residents of the Zimbabwean capital—graduates of Russian universities who had received their higher education in various Russian cities at various times. The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Guests fondly reminisced about their years of study at Russian universities, sharing personal stories and professional experiences. The main event of the event was the founding of the League of Russian University Alumni in Zimbabwe. The new organization aims to maintain strong ties between former students and promote the further development of humanitarian and business cooperation between the two countries. "We know very well that many of you studied in Russia or the Soviet Union, speak Russian, remember our songs, our holidays, and our traditions. For us, you are more than just partners. You are the living threads that bind our countries together.
