I am currently working on a project on why people in Zetland move to small towns. I have found a table with results of a single-choice survey conducted among Zetlanders. Thus, I am going to analyse the results and express my opinion on the subject of the project. According to the survey, the most popular response to the question "Why have you moved to a small town?" is "A sense of community", with 37% of the respondents choosing this option. "Better ecology" comes second, chosen by 28% of the participants. This is followed by the responses "Good childcare facilities" (15%), "No traffic jams" (12%) and "Big houses" (8%). It is worth mentioning that the figure for the option "A sense of community" is nearly four times higher than that for the response "Big houses". This suggests that social connection and a sense of belonging are the primary reasons why Zetlanders choose to relocate to smaller towns. Unfortunately, moving to a small town is not without its challenges. One common problem is the lack of job opportunities, as smaller towns often have fewer employers than large cities. To address this issue, residents could consider remote work or commuting to a nearby city a few days a week. In conclusion, from where I stand, small towns are an appealing choice for many people. There are far fewer cars, crowds and tourists than in a big city, the air is cleaner, and there is plenty of open space to enjoy. It is easy to see why so many Zetlanders are drawn to a quieter way of life. 264 words
