🎉 We heartily congratulate Tatyana Alexandrovna Bazhukova on her birthday! Tatyana Alexandrovna is a Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Head of the Department of Clinical Biochemistry, Microbiology and Laboratory Diagnostics, Honoured Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation, and Honorary Doctor of NSMU. Tatyana Alexandrovna Bazhukova’s career is a shining example of dedication to science and service to people. Tatyana Alexandrovna graduated with honours from the Arkhangelsk Medical School and the General Medicine Faculty of the Arkhangelsk State Medical Institute (AGMI). Already during her postgraduate studies, she launched pioneering research on mixed bacterial‑fungal cultures. Her work was awarded the M. V. Lomonosov Prize. 🔹 Based on her research findings, she developed methodological guidelines titled “Differential Diagnosis of the Most Common Mycosis Pathogens” and “Mycoses of the Upper Respiratory Tract”. Antibiograms of pathogens for empirical antibiotic therapy were introduced in clinics across Arkhangelsk and the Arkhangelsk Region. The mycological research method was implemented in bacteriological laboratories of the Arkhangelsk Region and the Nenets Autonomous Okrug (NAO). 🔹 Tatyana Alexandrovna is a talented scientist, educator, and supervisor of research projects, including international ones. Under her mentorship, 10 PhD and 1 Doctor of Sciences dissertations have been successfully defended. As the author of 181 scientific publications, including monographs and inventions, Tatyana Alexandrovna has made a significant contribution to microbiology and medicine! 🔹 Her achievements have been recognised with high honours: from the title “Honoured Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation” (2002), to the Order of the Archangel Michael (2022), and the status of Honorary Doctor of NSMU (2021). ✨ Dear Tatyana Alexandrovna, оn behalf of everyone, we sincerely congratulate you on your birthday!
