☀️ Summer is a time for yourself — a chance to recharge, gather strength, and fill up on new experiences. Today, a summer greeting comes to you from Valentina Chirkova, director of the NSMU video studio: 🗣️ “Directing Life: How I Spent My Summer. This summer didn’t go according to the script. 🎬 It all started with rehabilitation. For a director, hands are the main tool — they’re my “camera” and my “editing desk.” So, instead of heading straight to a shoot, I went to rehabilitation specialists first. And you know, it turned into a powerful directorial observation: recovery is the art of patience. I’m incredibly grateful to the team of professionals who got me back on track, proving that health is the foundation on which every masterpiece is built. My hands are ready to work again — and that means my ideas are ready too! The second act was St. Petersburg. The northern capital welcomed me with its grand architecture and the wind coming off the Neva. Peterhof was an explosion of emotions in the form of fountains, and its alleys are where the best historical stories are born. The tame squirrels 🐿️ that you can feed with nuts really amazed me. And as I walked along the embankment, my professional eye caught something special: a cargo ship with the inscription SMP “Arkhangelsk.” Standing on the St. Petersburg embankment, I realized with a smile that home always finds you, even from a thousand kilometres away. The third act, the tastiest one, was the remote areas of the Arkhangelsk region. The silence of the forest, the scent of moss and pine needles — this is the best reset for a brain overloaded with scripts. We went mushroom picking! And what a harvest it was: the beautiful white mushrooms hid in the moss, while blueberries and stoneberries glowed like rubies in the grass. This wasn’t just a vacation — it was a return to my roots, to that authentic northern magic. Summer was as contrasting as a good film: from hospital rehabilitation and health recovery to royal fountains and forest trails. But it gave me the most important things — strength and new meaning. Summer is over, but the memories will stay with me for a long time!” 🇷🇺🌲☀️ How is your summer going? Send your summer stories to the NSMU group administrator on VK for publication.
