Congolese experts discussed the role of artisans in the country. On August 17, a roundtable discussion on "The Importance of Artisans in the Republic of Congo" was held in Brazzaville with the support of the GlobUs association. The event was attended by representatives of the cultural sector, including furniture makers, designers, and representatives of other applied arts. During the discussion, participants emphasized the importance of developing and supporting Congolese artisans for local consumers. Furthermore, artisan goods are successfully exported abroad and bring income into the country. "A people without culture is a dead people.
